Three sisters inherit an old family home under mysterious circumstances, and must learn to live with one another. Each sister has neuroses and hardships, which express themselves in magical and inconvenient ways. As a result of some mail they receive, they must work together to uncover the secrets of their family home. “Withered Moons” is the first chapter of Sistering by Carmen Roses Ribaudo. It begins to introduce the sisters and to set the scene of the story.

Carmen’s cartooning quickly draws you into an unfolding story full of mystery. Each page reveals a new strange aspect of the world of the sisters! Carmen’s use of pattern and novel perspective helps give the comic a dream-like quality!
