Holdouts: Giveth & Taketh is the second chapter in the Holdouts series. This chapter introduces Rosie, a single, middle-aged amateur herpetologist living in a parked RV. Rosie lives on one of the many upper-deck freeways that became a long term campsite after the Gulf of Mexico crept in, enveloping all things formerly “street level.” She’s on a one woman mission to keep native reptiles and amphibians alive, despite the dismal odds and the sacrifices required of her.
