Humankind is not the only intelligent existence on the planet. They share the world with many others. None more prominent than the immortal Merfolk. Humans and Merfolk exist and coexist peacefully (for the most part) as they navigate the relationships between two very different existences, one on the land and one within the vast oceans.

Follow Adeline, our young heroine(esque) mermaid, as she learns her place in the world between the land and the sea. Adeline’s’ adventurous and headstrong nature leads her to uncover the rich and mysterious history of her people, often to the dismay of her ‘Gal-Pal’ human companion Joan. The unlikely duo will go to no ends to find the secret histories of both humankind and merfolk alike, meeting several friends (and foes) along the way as they discover the truths of a long since buried past.
 
Daily life is all the more difficult for Adeline and Joan as they juggle their epic adventures with normal earthly experiences that befall all teenagers.
